The submission portal for the Fall 2023 cycle of the RISE Indigenous Research Grants Program is now open!

The Indigenous Research Grants Program will provide funding to graduate student, post-doctoral, faculty, and non-academic researchers. Grants are typically issued up to $5,000 for graduate student and post-doctoral researchers and up to $10,000 for PhD level and non-academic researchers. Grants are intended to cover short-term projects (i.e., duration of one year or less) and can include piloting/prototyping.

Key Indigenous Research Grants Program Dates:

• October 31st, 2023 – Application portal closes at 5:00pm EST
• November 2023 – Submissions will be reviewed
• December 2023 – Successful applicants will be notified of their grant award
