Arizona State University Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position

The School of Sustainability in the College of Global Futures at Arizona State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in Sustainability and Behavior Change.  This faculty position is expected to begin in August 2024. Applicants should have expertise in researching and teaching in human behavior change as it relates to sustainability. 

Applicants must be prepared to develop and implement a cutting-edge research and teaching program in sustainability and behavior change. We seek interdisciplinary scholars from the broad set of social and behavioral sciences, whose research focuses on dimensions of individual, group or organizational behavioral change in relation to sustainability challenges and opportunities. Candidates with strengths in either qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods are welcome. Applicants are welcome from a broad range of disciplinary perspectives including, but not limited to, social or ecological psychology, environmental behavioral science, behavioral economics, cognitive science, cultural evolution and decision science. Applicants must be able to demonstrate their commitment to the values of ASU as reflected in the ASU Charter in teaching, research, practice, and service.
