NSF Innovator Program

Deadline to Apply: May 1, 2024

The fourth cohort of The Innovator Program will award two-year grants for selected faculty on projects that align with NSF and NSF NCAR strategic priorities and that address complex societal issues. Awards will be up to $250K in total, over two years, starting in the Fall 2025. Funded projects will be co-developed between faculty awardees and NSF NCAR scientists. Competitive proposals will emphasize interdisciplinary and actionable research projects that respond to societal needs.

They are accepting letters of intent from faculty with degrees or demonstrated research experience in social, behavioral, or policy sciences to co-develop and collaborate on projects with NSF NCAR scientists. Letters of Intent are being accepted now through May 1st, 2024. They will host 2 Virtual Q&A sessions to answer any questions faculty may have– Registration required. Interested faculty can also sign up for the mailing list to get relevant program updates.
