2024 Student Farm Internship

2024 Student Farm Internship

Deadline to Apply: Rolling, but prioritization before November 20, 2023

The Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm at Penn State, University Park, is offering paid opportunities for current Penn State students interested in working with the Student Farm for the 2024 growing season! Student farmers participating in the cohort program lead and participate in diversified vegetable, greenhouse, herb and cut flower production, harvest, marketing, community outreach, volunteer management, event planning, and more. Previous experience in relevant fields is welcome, but not required. They do ask students to be motivated to learn and contribute to a positive work environment.

Positions with the Student Farm are a great option for students seeking a paid position on campus, particularly if you love being outdoors and having the opportunity to work with your hands. By working with the Student Farm, you’ll get to see a full growing season through from the first seeds of spring to putting the fields to bed for winter!
