-This on-line experiential course is for researchers, educators, leaders in community conservation, students, citizen science project managers, and others interested in alternative research methods for participatory science research applicable to field research or community driven citizen science projects.
-This course is taught by Dr. Lee Ann Woolery, Research Director at Citizen Artist. With a focus on divergent ways of knowing, Dr. Woolery pioneered Art-Based Perceptual Ecology, an alternative interdisciplinary methodology for conducting ecological field research. Dr. Woolery holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England and a master’s degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
