Research Description

I have researched the degradation and pollution of the Aral Sea and environmental, sustainability, and human rights issues in Central Asia and Russia.

Teaching Description

I have taught about sustainability in many of my courses, including Ethics, Business Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Introduction to Environmental Philosophy, and courses in Medieval Philosophy and Asian Philosophy. I have also taught independent studies with students who were interested in sustainability in Central Asia and Russia. Philosophy is about life, which means sustainability and taking care of everyone and everything. Philosophy is crucial for understanding the importance of sustainability and diversity of life.
