Research Description
I use life cycle assessment, materials flow analysis, and environmental processes model to relate production impacts across a supply chain to goods and services consumed by humans. I primarily focus on agricultural and food systems.
Teaching Description
Life cycle assessment (undergrad); plans to develop a graduate course on LCA and other core sustainability science topics. Have taught, but not here a full course I called Sustainability in Engineered Systems. I also integrate various equity topics into BE/BRS 392, Leadership, Ethics, Communication (with a longer actual course name).
