Engaging in Implementation Science: What you need to know
This is SSRI and CTSI’s Implementation Science Seminar, “Engaging in Implementation Science: What you need to know,” with guest presenter Erika Crable, PhD, MPH from the University of California San Diego. Dr. Crable is an implementation scientist whose research focuses on health policy, comorbid substance use and mental illness, and health equity for publicly insured, uninsured and underinsured populations.
This is a joint event hosted by SSRI and CTSI to educate our faculty and trainees on Implementation Science to strengthen their ongoing and future research.
Join for a two-hour, interactive seminar that will:
1. Seminar (1hr, hybrid). Describe the foundations of Implementation Science (e.g., terminology, conceptual models and frameworks, study design, implementation strategies).
2. Practice Activity (1hr, in-person only). Provide opportunities for participants to formulate practical Implementation Science questions that can be applied to health policy and social science research.
