The Penn State EcoReps are planning an event for Earth Hour on Saturday March 23rd in the evening. Students, faculty, and other members of the university are encouraged to not use any electricity for one hour to reduce carbon emissions and help fight climate change. There will be a place to take a pledge to turn out your lights. They will also be putting together a lantern display on Old Main Lawn because the lights on the clock tower of Old Main will be out for one hour. One lantern will be set up for each pledge taken.
